The Volleyball Association of Singapore has hosted the Sri Lanka National Women Volleyball Team in Singapore from 26th October to 29th October 2007. Volleyball is the National sport for the Sri Lankans and they really have lots to share with us.

In the four days in Singapore, the Sri Lanka Team had exchanged their skills with our local Volleyball players and tasted our local culture. Our combined-school team and our winners for Pesta Sukan - the Reds Team and TNT had gracefully represented us in this expetition.

Ranging from 1.75m to 1.9m tall, the Sri Lankans women team are especially advantage in spiking. Their spikes are accurate and strong. Getting into the right position each time is definitely a result from ample trainings and adequate competition exposure. It is indeed a good learning exposure for our girls and it shall spur them on for greater excellence in the near future.
