Wade Gilbert, professor of kinesiology at California State University at Fresno. Also known as the Coach Doctor, Wade Gilbert has more than 20 years of experience in conducting applied research with coaches around the world spanning all competitive levels, from youth leagues to the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games. The highlight of his presentation will be about how coaches can make use of practical coaching methods to Coach Better Every Day.
John Bales, president of the International Coaching Council of Excellence (ICCE). ICCE is an international organization with the mission of promoting coaching as an internationally accepted profession and enhancing the quality of coaching at every level of sport. John Bales will provide a global perspective on the challenges that coaches are facing, and the current trends in coach development.
Masa Ito, Associate Professor at Nippon Sport Science University (NSSU). He is the brainchild behind the NSSU Coach Developer Academy (NCDA) which is the first coach developer academy that ICCE has launched. He will provide an insight into coach development from an Asian perspective.
