VAS will conduct a sharing session on “Strength & Conditioning Principles and Practical Applications in Volleyball” by Dr Luis Cunha.


From this workshop you will gain knowledge on why effective strength & conditioning is imperative to improve performance and prevent injury. You will also get tips on how to design a S&C program for Volleyball players. This inaugural session is open to all volleyball coaches. 


Dr Luis Cunha has been involved in sports for nearly four decades and has a holistic understanding of Sports Performance Development. He was the National Coach for Portuguese Federation of Athletics for 11 years before joining Singapore Athletics as their national head coach for two years. He is also a three-time Olympian (Seoul, 88, Barcelona 92, Atlanta 96). Luis obtained Masters in High Performance Sport and Bachelor in Sport Science and he is currently a PhD candidate for sport performance indicator. 


Registration is at $5 for 2019 vocational members and $15 for 2019 vocational non-members.

Registration Deadline: 9 May 2019, 5:00 pm. Or reaches a maximum of 20 registered participants.


Mode of Payment: Internet Banking/Cash/Cheque (Payable to Volleyball Association of Singapore)


*There is a need for minimum of seven registered participants before the course can commence. The class will be kept at a maximum of 20 registered participants.

*No refund once payment is made except if the session is cancelled.
